Participants in the exam should show that they can analyse and solve general and subject-specific tasks. Some universities require a TestAS score in order to be able to compare applicants' abilities.
IIK offers the digital TestAS several times a year. Registration takes place exclusively via the TestAs page:
https://www.testas.de/de/pruefungstermine.htm
The digital TestAS also consists of two parts and takes approx. 3.5 hours.
In the core test, all participants complete the same tasks, which are similar to an assessment test. Participants have to demonstrate logical thinking in the areas of maths, language, images and numbers.
The specialist module is chosen by the participants to match their degree programme. Depending on the module, the tasks test the required intellectual abilities of the desired degree programme.
The following modules are available:
- Humanities, cultural and social sciences
- Life sciences
- Mathematics, computer science and natural sciences
- Engineering sciences
- Economics
- Medicine
Model tasks for the core test and for the specialist modules can be found at:
